Restricted free agent Michael Del Zotto and his agent have filed for salary arbitration.

If the Flyers and Del Zotto can’t reach a deal by the date of the hearing, they’ll argue their cases before a neutral third party arbitrator, who sets the player’s salary.
That route would be most undesirable for Philly, as feelings could get hurt.
After 32 points (10 G, 22 A) in 64 games, I’m guessing MDZ feels he’s worth in excess of around $3.5 million.
Michael Del Zotto’s agent, Don Meehan, says he’s hoping a contract gets done beforehand.
Don Meehan, who represents Michael Del Zotto, tells me he has filed arbitration but “we will continue to have discussions” with Flyers.
