Flyers select Felix Sandstrom 70th overall

The Flyers went international goalie with their first third round pick, picking Swedish goalie Felix Sandstrom.

NHL Central Scouting has Sandstrom as the third ranked European goalie in the draft.

Felix played most of 2014-2015 with the Brynäs J20 team of the SuperElit league, the highest level of junior hockey in Sweden: 14 GP, .907 SV%, 2.63 GAA

In two games with the big club (Brynäs) in the Swedish Hockey League, Sandstrom had a .963 SV% and a 1.09 GAA.

Felix Sandstrom was named one of the three top players on Sweden during the U18 World Junior Championships this year, putting up a .909 SV% and a 3.31 GAA in four games.

The Flyers select 90th in the third with their next pick.
