The Flyers have inked forward Chris Porter to a one year deal.
The University of North Dakota alum played in 27 games (including postseason) with the Blues last season: 1 G, 2 A (53.4 SAT%)
The contract is two way, so he’ll be paid less with the Phantoms.
Porter (31), a round nine pick in 2003, has spent his entire career with the St. Louis organization (signed in 2007).
Chris Porter has bounced between the AHL and the Blues for most of his player lifetime.
In 173 NHL games, Porter has 11 goals and 16 assists (27 points).
The 6’1″ 206 pound left wing missed two months with a leg injury at the start of 2015 and was a frequent healthy scratch.
Looks like a solid depth signing for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
