The Flyers have found their replacement for Rob Zepp.

LaBarbera (35) appeared in five games with the Ducks last season (.909 SV%, 2.61 GAA), but spent the majority of his time with their AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals: 34 GP, .912 SV%, 2.62 GAA

The 6’3″ 234 pound veteran was most notably Arizona’s backup from 2009-2013, two of those seasons under Ilya Bryzgalov: 68 GP, .918 SV%, 2.64 GAA

Jason LaBarbera will be the #3 goalie in the Flyers’ organization, bouncing back and forth between Lehigh Valley and Philly if Mason or Neuvirth get hurt.

LaBarbera should also help mentor prospect Anthony Stolarz, who had a subpar first year in the AHL (31 GP, .905 SV%, 3.28 GAA).
