The Flyers have traded 2015 6th round pick, Cooper Marody, to Edmonton for a 2018 3rd round pick.
#Flyers have traded rights to prospect Cooper Marody (Michigan) to #Oilers in exchange for 2019 3rd round pick (prev. held by #njdevils). Marody was 6th round pick in 2015 by PHI, led Big Ten in scoring this season, joining Zach Hyman and Kyle Connor as Wolverines to do so.

The Junior forward lead the University of Michigan and the rest of the B1G conference in points with 46 (14 G, 32 A) in 37 games played.
Despite all Marody’s success, the Flyers have a deep well of young forward talent in their system, and the return of a 3rd round pick for a former 6th rounder who’s yet to play a minute of pro hockey was too much for GM Ron Hextall to pass up.
