“You’re gonna eat lightning and you’re gonna crap thunder.”
The Philadelphia Flyers released a photo of goaltender Michal Neuvirth’s mask for the 2015-16 season.
The Rocky-centric mask seems fitting for Neuvirth, who appears very motivated and driven to earn playing time with his new team.
The 27-year-old is coming off a decent 2014-15 campaign split between the Sabres and the Islanders, posting a .914 save percentage in 32 games. He enters the 2015-16 campaign as the backup to Steve Mason, but if Neuvirth catches fire, he could steal some starts in the Flyers’ cage.
