The Flyers announced Monday morning that Forward Michael Raffl will miss the next two weeks with an upper-body injury.
The veteran suffered the injury during his 6:40 of TOI in Sunday’s 6-3 win over Washington. Raffl has been a cornerstone of the bottom-six for the Flyers and has appeared in all 73 games this season, notching 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points.
Raffl will likely be replaced by a mixture of Jori Lehtera, Matt Read, and Dale Weise in his time away, but should be ready to go in time for the playoffs.
In the meantime, the Flyers are heading to Detroit to take on the Wings at Little Caesars Arena Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
