It remains to be seen who will start the majority of games in the Flyers’ goaltending crease this season, but whenever Michal Neuvirth gets the nod, he’ll be doing it in style.

Swedish artist David Gunnarsson has been working with the Czech goaltender for years and has designed a very unique layout for Neuvirth’s latest goalie mask.

The whole design is created with thousands and thousands of small dots which shimmer and change in the light. This video gives a better look at the intricate detail that went into painting the mask:

Neuvirth appeared in 22 games for the Flyers in 2017-18, posting a .915 save percentage in the process. While the veteran goaltender had his crease time limited due to injury, he’s back to full health heading into 2018-19 and will likely be battling Brian Elliott for playing time.
