The CHL has announced that Morgan Frost of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds is the CHL Player of the Week for the playoff week ending May 6. The Flyers’ elite offensive prospect racked up three goals and seven points in three playoff games.

Frost recorded a goal and an assist in Game 7 against the Kitchener Rangers last Monday, as the Greyhounds won the series and clinched the Western Conference title with a 4-3 double overtime victory.
Frost has carried his strong play into the OHL Final, contributing an assist in Game 1 before exploding for three points (two goals) in Game 2. Frost also had a goal in Monday’s 6-5 loss in Game 3.
The 18-year-old is currently tied for third in OHL playoff scoring with 27 points (10 goals) through 21 games. Frost was a monster during the regular season, racking up a career-high 42 goals and 112 points in 67 games.
The Greyhounds currently trail the Bulldogs 2-1 in their OHL Final best-of-seven series. Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Hamilton.
