The 19-year-old rookie left Tuesday’s game against the Ducks during the second period after suffering an apparent head injury. He looked very wobbly making his way off the ice and had to be helped into the locker room by trainers.
Here’s video of the play in which you can clearly see his head bash against the glass.

Patrick was pulled out of the game for precautionary measures and was likely tested for a concussion. The injury didn’t appear to seem too serious afterwards, and he was seen in the press box wearing street clothes, but it’s good to get confirmation he’s okay.
Patrick and the Flyers will look to bounce back in Ottawa on Thursday after closing out the homestand with a disappointing 6-2 loss to Anaheim.
