Trailing the Penguins 2-1 in their best-of-seven first-round series, the Flyers have made some lineup changes ahead of Wednesday’s Game 4 in Philadelphia.
21-year-old rookie Oskar Lindblom has been scratched, with Jordan Weal set to play his first career NHL playoff game as his replacement.
The speedy forward registered eight goals and 21 points in 69 games during the regular season, but was stapled to a seat in the press box to start the playoffs.

Sean Couturier was involved in a collision with teammate Radko Gudas in practice Tuesday morning and had to be helped off the ice. Dave Hakstol is expected to provide an update on Couturier’s condition Wednesday.
In Couturier’s absence, Nolan Patrick was centering Giroux and Voracek for the remainder of practice.
The Penguins, meanwhile, will be without Patric Hornqvist (upper body) in Game 4. Hornqvist has a goal and two assists through the series’ first three games.
