Goalie Steve Mason is expected to start for the Philadelphia Flyers after Michal Neuvirth made 22 saves in a 4-3 overtime victory against the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday. This is the fourth of 18 sets of back-to-back games for the Flyers, who had to rally after spotting the Red Wings a 2-0 lead. The Flyers have allowed the first goal in eight of their 11 games (3-4-1) and have been outscored 13-4 in the first period.
