The injuries just keep piling up for the Philadelphia Flyers.
According to Flyers’ GM Ron Hextall, defenseman Radko Gudas suffered an upper-body injury during Wednesday’s loss to the Blackhawks at the United Center. The 27-year-old blueliner appeared to suffer the injury towards the end of the first period.

It’s unclear which exact play Gudas was injured on, but it’s very possible it happened on this inadvertent elbow from Brandon Saad.

No replays where shown on the broadcast, but that was the last shift Gudas took. Saad’s elbow does appear to catch Gudas in the head.
Andrew MacDonald and Shayne Gostisbehere are already both out, while youngster Sam Morin is currently dealing with an injury. The Flyers have already been forced to call up Mark Alt and Will O’Neill. It’s very likely O’Neill will make his NHL debut Thursday night against the Blues.
More information as it becomes available.
