According to an NHL source, there is no hearing scheduled for Maple Leafs’ forward Leo Komarov after he injured Flyers’ blueliner Shayne Gostisbehere with a hit in Saturday’s game.

Here’s a look at the play where you can clearly see Komarov board Gostisbehere. No penalty was called on the play despite how vicious it looks.

Gostisbehere didn’t return for the third period and the Flyers stated he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. It goes without saying how devastating a long-term injury would be here. Gostisbehere is leading all NHL d-men in points and has arguably been the team’s MVP thus far.
