Sam Morin drops Bobby Farnham in AHL scrap

You might remember Bobby Farnham. The Philadelphia Flyers have a bit of a history with the 28-year-old forward.

Farnham, who is currently playing in the AHL for the Springfield Thunderbirds, didn’t make any friends on the Flyers during his time in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey Devils.

Flyers’ defensive prospect Sam Morin renewed that hatred Wednesday night in an AHL matchup between the Thunderbirds and Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

The fight stemmed after Farnham took exception to a big hit from Morin in the corner. It didn’t go over too well for Farnham.

This isn’t the only time these two players have dropped the mitts. Here’s a flashback to the NHL preseason.

WIth his intimidating physical presence, it’s only a matter of time before the 6’7″, 227 lbs big man gets his NHL call-up.
