Some huge news from the other side of the state today. Penguins owners Ron Burkle and Mario Lemieux are looking into selling the franchise.

It doesn’t mean Burkle and Lemieux are necessarily getting out but they are looking at various options. It’s believed Lemieux, perhaps more than Burkle, may have an interest in getting his equity share out of the franchise.
The duo hired Morgan Stanley, the company that helped with the sale of the Sabres to Terry Pegula.
The Penguins are the 10th most valuable NHL franchise, worth $565 million according to Forbes.
