Despite missing the playoffs and finishing 24th overall in the NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers still averaged 19,271 fans per game in 2014-15 — the fourth-highest average attendance in the league.
Chicago, Detroit and Montreal were the only teams with a higher average attendance. Considering the Flyers simply looked disinterested at various points throughout the season, that’s quite impressive.
