Tyrell Goulbourne wins WHL title

The Kelowna Rockets shutout the Wheat Kings 3-0 last night to claim the Western Hockey League title, sweeping the Eastern Conference champions Brandon 4-0.

Flyers 2013 3rd round draft pick Tyrell Goulbourne was with the team in the post-game celebration, but will be out the rest of the season after surgery to repair a lacerated calf. Goulbourne suffered the injury May 1st taking a skate to the calf muscle against the boards.

Tyrell Goulbourne had 22 goals and 23 assists (45 PTS) in 62 regular season games this year.
