It was ‘Flyers Day’ at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday afternoon as the Phillies hosted the Cardinals in a matinee MLB affair.

Flyers PA announcer Lou Nolan announced the lineups, Lauren Hart sang the national anthem and defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere threw out the first pitch.

It was a pretty wild first pitch by Gostisbehere, but luckily the Phanatic was there to make the stop.

Gostisbehere got a nice ovation from the home crowd and the Phillies went on to beat the Cardinals 4-3.

Not a bad day at the ballpark.
